Importing Audio Files Trouble

Post by soupking » Tue Aug 19, 2008 1:50 am

Hi Everybody,

I've been reading how-to's on importing files, but every file I import to Live is all wobbly sounding in the bass and all these little squares pop up on top of it.

What is that and why do my files sound so bad? I recorded the file in Garage Band, exported it as an aif. That and the mp3 didn't work, they do the same thing.

What am I doing wrong? I feel like importing audio should be that hard?

Thanks for any suggestions. :)

Nevermind.

Found it! The Warp button was screwing it up.

Why the heck is there a 'warp' button in here?

WARP = realtime beat-matching of any audio on your hard drive.

I'll say that again...

Warp, along with the Session View is the key to Live's awesomeness! :D

Wow! That is awesome. I'm still learning basic in and outs. I haven't gotten even to fancy automation yet.

That's pretty dope sounding though. I'll have to check it out.

Thanks! :D
