need a usb hub recommendation

Post by 5dots » Sun Oct 24, 2004 3:20 am

so i've been using a reasonably cheap belkin hub for a while, and it's starting to crap out on me, a couple weeks before i have a gig. so i need a new one.

i'd like something small, that doesn't require wall power. i've looked at the kensington pockethub mini, but i'm using a g4 ibook and i'm pretty sure that would block access to my audio out - which is bad. (if anyone knows if that would actually happen, it'd be great to hear - i'm thinking maybe an L-cable would work? but i don't have the time or money to really test out the idea.)

other than that, i'd really like something that's going to be relatively solid (yet affordable), and not flake out on me anytime soon.

any help?

Try Griffin's USB Audio Hub.

i've seen that, and i've been really pleased by griffin's quality in the past... but it's a little big. i may get it anyhow - but i'm hoping for something smaller.

thanks though!
