GleetchPlug crashes Live 4.04

Post by Mbazzy » Mon Oct 25, 2004 6:48 am

Disclaimer : The Mac world is fairly new to me so i could be making huge mistekes.

Situation : Ibook 12' - 1ghz - 768 Mb ram - Mac OSX ( Panther 10.3.3 or 4 - where can I check that btw ? In sw updates it says 10.3.5 is available)

Pluggo Runtime Environment (latest)
Gleetchplug 2.1 for OsX

In fact it's a double problem, whenever I try to run AUscan , Pluggo RE already exits with an error . When afterwards I try to launch Live latest , it gives an error on the Gleetchplu efx and exits without even loading.

Deleting the Gleetchplug folder resolves it ....

Is it me or are there known issues ?

Hello Mbazzy,

The plugins work fine here (Live 4.04, OSX 10.3.5, Pluggo 3.2.1)
I only tried the VST versions.

Best,

Are you running full Pluggo or just Runtime Environment ?
Don't know if this would make a difference ... ? I can't afford the full version right now ... but the site advises Runtime Environment should do ...
in the mean time
I'll upgrade to OSX 10.3.5 already

Hello Mbazzy

The fullversion. It shouldn´t make a difference.
Make sure to run the latest version. Can you use other 3rd party pluggos?

Best,
Ch. Kleine

Hi Christian,

I've also tried the Percolate plugins ... those get recognised by Pluggo AUScan, but I can't load them into Live 4.0.4 .. I can select them from the browser, insert them, but when i want to open the GUI, at the bottom of the GUI there is an error message , something like '45 errors trying to load ...." ...

Wonder what I'm doing wrong.... considering I only switched 2 weeks ago to Mac I fear the fault is with me ...

All plugins reside in /library/audio/plugins/ .....

8)

Just noticed that the Runtime Environment of Pluggo isn't as uptodate as the full version. Could this play a role?
