Carry a sound between scenes

Post by ianarmstrong » Mon Oct 25, 2004 6:59 am

I'm sure this has been asked about a thousand times so I apologize in advance... I've been putting A&L's forthcoming track, Transit:2AM, into Live for performances.

In a couple of places either a horn or a reverse cymbal needs to be active between one scene and another. How would I tell Ableton NOT to turn off my reverbed reverse cymbal when I change from scene 1 to scene 2? I'd really like to hang that echo off the end. Sure, I could do it with a reverb... its more problematic with the end of a horn note.

Let me know?

Thanks,
Ian

Disable the clip slot (ctrl-E) in the next scene right under the first scene and leave that clip blank.
