Cheers Mike, yeah you're right there Automat, is a really nice synth. I've used it quite a lot.. It sits well in a mix and is very dynamic, and full sounding, easy to program, fun to tweak because of its well laid out GUI, great sounding filters and effects... Plus it's FREE!

^^Not sure what you guys are talking about.....
Mono and legato modes seem to work fine for me. Also all text boxes work fine.
Did you guys use the install script? It uninstalls the old one and then puts the new component in the components folder, and it also adds a fonts file of some kind.
Definitely use the install command instead of just putting the plug-in in the folder manually.
I will say though, that I find it eats much more cpu now than in the early betas, which is unfortunate. And strange since I remember on the site it said that the betas used a lot of cpu, which it didn't.

Professional Shark Jumper.
The thing is that it, unlike every other synth, doesn't "remember" held keys. If you hold one key down, and repeatedly play another, the pitch should alternate between those two keys. In Automat, it doesn't. This may not sound like such a big deal, but it's an essential technique when playing monosynths.glitchrock-buddha wrote:^^Not sure what you guys are talking about.....

Ha! it used to be called Buzzer in an earlier incarnation! Really useful little synth, and pretty cool guy.j2j wrote:The 1.0
congrats.... I think I'm going to give it spin. It does have quite a buzz surrounding it.
Cheers 4 this...
Buzzer had a crazy filter on it, got great use out of that, and Automat has great filters too. My only complaint with Automat etc. is that he does it for free, if he was paid, backwards compatibility would work...... I think it's pretty set now though.
