Puremagnetik Technospher sound pack reviews ? ? ?

Post by infiniteB » Fri Aug 29, 2008 4:30 am

I've been looking for choral swells (ahh, ohh, other), zippers, slow attack sounds, and other transitions, and looking for such I ran across Puremagnetik's Technosphere. The description for it says it is is a "sound design toolbox of over 100 soundscapes, transition effects and ambiances."
Anyone have this soundpack? How is it? Any specifics? (types/descriptions/control of sounds, etc...)..... Any help would be greatly appreciated

If you haven't tried their stuff... it's good to go. I've only downloaded a few things like Vector and some others that slip my mind right now. Just listen to the samples on the website and see if the sounds fit your needs. Which reminds me ... I need to re up my subscription... Later

They are great value at $12 a pack, or just over $5 if you buy their all in subscription.

I haven't played with the Technosphere pack much, but their online demo's give a good idea of what their packs are capable of. They are also normally designed well to take full advantage of Live, which means plenty of stuff for you to play around with.

There are some free packs on their website you could try out to see their work, they also created the Drum Machines pack for Ableton.

Apologies for hijacking the thread but....

Micah, any chance you could post some details on the Loopmasters packs you've done? There is nothing about them on your website and the Loopmasters website doesn't say much either. I'm especially interested in whether any of the material is duplicated from your subscription packs? Is it worth subscribers buying them?

^^^^^^^^^Yes this would be nice know...... My thoughts were since they didn't mention that they are different then they are more than likely packs based on Pure's back catologue......

That is correct dbolt. We will most likely create exclusive content for Loopmasters as our partnership continues. For now, the PM packs offered by Loopmasters are complied from the existing PM catalog.
