Small cut when restarting after a long pause

Hi,

When I let my computer ON with Live 3 opened, but stopped, let's say for 10 minutes, then when I start to play again, everything is OK for the first 5 seconds and then, there is an audio glitch for half a second... then everything is OK for the rest of the gig...

I found a solution (I push the play button without clip, 10 seconds before to start playing so that the glitch happens when there is no sound), but it is not very "beautifull"...

Any suggestion?

Hello Matheo,

This behaviour is known and more or less a OS problem. It has to do with
dynamic memory allocation (i assume you´re on OS X??).
I recommend to tweak some knobs before your concert starts....
We´ll check if there´s a better way to avoid this, though.

Thanks for your quick answer (as usual!).

I use Xp Pro.

Anyway, if you confirm me that it is a known issue, it means that the problem does not come from my computer and so, as the workaround is not too difficult to do, I will be able to sleep well again...
