oxygen8 control knobs don't work (Live, OS X)

I'm having this same issue with my Oxygen 8 v2. The keys trigger but the knobs don't have any effects (at least in the DJ lesson where you program the crossfade button). I've got the keyboard going straight into my Macbook via USB and I'm running the latest OS X...whatever that one is.

just wondering if anyone got this problem sorted out as I am currently experiencing the same thing: Live 7.10, oxygen 8 v2 and OSX 10.5.3

Live is getting midi in...but I simply cannot make it 'see' the knobs and faders on my v2. "dump" is inaccessible, and I've reset the v2 via enigma.
