Beats nice, is that sampled?

Doesnt quite sound right to me when the bassline comes in, not sure whether its in a different key, or whether you were just going for a werid major minor clash or sumin. dunno

programmed drums yeah(DFH:S), bass is real.
Melody is C minor I believe.

I just played a bass line that felt right to me, to the melody...

A change of the bass line can change the entire feel of the song though, so who knows I may change it up and play something with a little more space/legato in another key.

Hi. I really enjoyed listening to your tunes.

With respect to 2Sp13ndWr192, I like the bass part. I do think though, because its such a strong flavor for this particular tune that it needs a change up earlier in the piece than 1:40ish. You essentially have two bass motifs going, both work fine, but IMO need to be showcased at least twice. Maybe a third 'snippit' bass part too, just to swing it between the two flavors.

On a different note, I listened to Barely just before bed the other night. I carried that tune in my head to bed... it just hit the spot, brought a sense of calm, smoothed out my emotions from the day, and basically took over long enough for me go to sleep with ease. For me, it is strong, but very gentle. Its got me coming back for more. Thanks for the share 8) 8)

Yeah It's definitely the bass that is the problem. I think maybe a variant of the first bass part half way through maybe some long notes of the same thing, to give it a sense of half time. Going to play with it some more soon.

Yeah, I dig that track a lot. Going to try and write more pieces like that.
Thanks for the comments! :)
