woohoo, just got NIN tickets.

Post by roach808 » Thu Sep 04, 2008 5:16 am

So here is my random interjection, I finally got lucky enough to be in the same state when NIN is playing there for a change. So yeah I snagged some presale tickets and shall be making a nice drive to Jacksonville, FL (gonna go visit the rents in daytona soon). Very happy my schedule has finally synced up for this tour. Since I've managed to miss them tour pretty much all the time since 05, when trent started touring yet again. Altho, when i saw them in '00 it was ultra-bueno.

okies, don't mind me I'm just rather happy. Now maybe if I could catch underworld live this year it would make my year for live music, but i won't go into that.

my jaw dropped during a few points - my advice would be to try not to spoil the experience by watching youtube videos and stuff. they don't really do the stage setup justice anyway... :)

tix in greensboro nc range from 90 to 300+ dollars. (choke, cough)

I'm glad I got to see them perform in clubs when it was approx 15 to 20 a tix.
Stuff I actually use.
sound card, speakers, mic, MBP, Mighty Mouse, Ableton, Reason, iPad, iPhone,Touchable, Rebirth, & other apps.
Pair of Technics 1200's, and a Pioneer Mixer

from where!? that's ridiculous.

if you can get in on a presale on nin.com, you'll get better seats, personalized tickets, early entrance into the venue, and they're like $50-60 - pretty standard. I don't think ticketmaster was much more even.

ticket brokers are retarded

It is an amazing show! Have Fun!
Ableton’s engineers are hard
at work developing code that will allow our software to predict the future, but we don’t
anticipate having this available until at least the next major release.

that's awesome, you can easily make $85-$100. when are you going to sell it? at the venue or beforehand?

Dunno, I was thinking of either trying to sell it to a random hobo on the corner, or may just say fuck it and go to the bar.

I'm going to see NIN tomorrow night and I'm very excited.

But exactly when do these old people concerts start? The tickets say the doors open at 7. WTF. I'm used to not getting to a venue until about 11 and even then the support act is just winding down.

here's a hint--

they'll play "head like a hole" last and the guitar player who runs around alot will jump into the crowd.
