Dregas-Millies Tape

Peace...
I will check it out when I get home, can you name a few of the artists on it so we can get an idea?

(It's like, I know what Soul means to me, but it might mean something else to you and others)

First off, I wouldn't call this a mixtape.

It's a beat tape.

That doesn't make it any less dope, just calling it what it is. You probably put in more work than most mixtapes anyway.

It's a beat tape with DJ elements, such as revealing the samples and letting them play out at the ends of lots of joints (which I appreciated, as you revealed in one case, something iI'd been wondering for like 16 years)

OK, back to the beat tape.

Damn, those were all Millies? nice. I especially liked the first one and a couple of others others. Ate for instance. Moreso just because i love that gangster ass feel to it, sounds like Antonio Fargas should be walking by.

You would get more play off these if you laced some acapellas over them, but I like them better without.

no prob, just to add: the way you arrange your chops reminds me of Soul Supreme somewhat (in a good way). Not just the arrangment, but the type of samples used too.

Just giving cats the link before we sent it to Itunes... I did the beats for it, mixed it, and all that stuff. Comes zipped with the original artwork that the replicator wouldnt do (Girls half nakedand some are naked).

If you know what Hucklebuck means... You will like the LP
