Hi Guys,
I'm trying to get as much from my controllers (Faderfox Lc2 & LD2) as possible, & am nearly there with customising my set-up, but am completely stumped on one point.
ok... I'll explain this as best I can - sorry in advance for any rambling!!!
*Out of the box, One of the buttons (encoder pushes) on my LC2 toggles between clipview & track view in session mode
* now... when I click on apple 'M' to view all parameters/functions assignable to midi, I cant see any where to click to assign a view toggle like this? - in the ableton manual, I can see theres a shortcut key command for this (ctrl F12) but I don't have bomes or any midi/keystroke converter software, so how has this been done?
*In the faderfox LC2 manual, I can see the encoder push in question is sending mdi note number '103' , but nowhere in the ableton manual does it seem to list any midi note references.
The point of my rambling - If there are some mysterious note commands that exist inside live for this type ioof thing that aren't published, might there be more (like 'select browser' key command ) that I could tap into somehow without having to get my head around learning Bomes etc?

Ah - thanks - Makes sense, would there be anyway the remote scripts (& correspondng note numberss are published?) - i can see in the ableton manual there is a mention of browser focus as an option for mackie controls, wonder if there is a note on that would do this with the faderfox, not mackie control selected as a control surface?

The remote scripts are located in a sub-folder ('Resources\MIDI Remote Scripts') under the Live install folder but they aren't intended to be editable (as far as I know). As for the Mackie, it would be set up as a control surface to have the functionality you're referring to - it's all scripting I'm afraid so you're stuck with what you've got.adambam wrote:Ah - thanks - Makes sense, would there be anyway the remote scripts (& correspondng note numberss are published?) - i can see in the ableton manual there is a mention of browser focus as an option for mackie controls, wonder if there is a note on that would do this with the faderfox, not mackie control selected as a control surface?

Just thought I'd bump this, as I'm currently playing with the LD2 as a MIDI remote.
It works as a dynamic 'blue hand' remote with the FX A bank (as the track banks are absolute), but the encoder buttons don't seem to do anything. Plus, only eight knobs seem to be used in the script. Have any other Faderfox users extended the scripts at all to make them more useful?
