Hi,
automap works fine in the old way, that means using template 40 and controling the plugins in live (except for the tempo, I remebered that it worked some time ago).
I wanted to use automap universal with the new nice 2.1 gui and template 38. Installation and everything is okay, and my plugins (bass-station, v-station...) are wrapped, that means that the plugin-manager created a automap version of these plugins BUT live does not show them in the plugin list. Even a re-scan did not work.
What is wrong?
Regards,
Torsten
PS: I searched the forum but didn't find an answer.

This worked for me
Hi Ambien I'm the one who duplicated your post.
I had another go at it yesterday and have got back to full working order! I don't know why this worked this time, and maybe all the stages weren't necessary... just happy to have it all back! Do let me know how you get on.
After the latest re-installation, although I had done it previously, I removed all the plug-ins from the right side of the Automap plug-ins manager, closed it and Ableton, re-opened Ableton and scanned the VST folder (probably not necessary), then closed Ableton. Re-opened Ableton, restored all the available plug-ins in Automap's plug-in manager. Closed Ableton / Automap. Re-opened Ableton, rescanned VST folder, and all the automapped plug-ins were now back in the browser.

Any luck?
Have you managed to get your automapped plug-ins back? If so, how did you do it? As you will see from my previous post, I'm OK now, but I would like to better understand what the problem was - in case it happens again!
