Camel Audio's new "Alchemy"....

Looks quite nice. Check out the vid, as well as the the screenshot on page 4 of the thread. There are a couple of swett demo tunes in that thread as well. One of which is a single note held down which actually sounds really cool.

Actually the screen shot is pretty telling, and so are the sound examples in that thread. I'm sorry I'm too lazy to go and link each one, but just look in the thread if you're interested. I think it's pretty easy to see from the screen shot and from the thread itself that it's a synthesizer, especially from comments like 'hey this is going to be a great synth'.... That kind of gave it away for me.
Looks like a variety of synthesis types in there like spectral, additive, granular, sample resynthesis, subtractive. Sounds cool.

wow, lots of negativity towards something that hasn't even come out! The only reason I thought it might be of interest is because those demo songs posted on the kvr thread sounded pretty interesting.
I personally think it'll be quite different than gladiator. And I don't see it being a rompler at all. Spectral/additive/granular/resynthesis = rompler? I think not. I don't think that's their thing. I don't know why so much speculation - just some cool tunes worth sharing.
Bounce, not sure if that's your sarcasm directed at the apprehension of others or if it's your own couldn'tgiveashit-ness, but sorry for inadvertently wasting your time with such gayness!
Speaking of, did you guys all get up on the wrong side of the same bed today or what?
