MIDI keyboard problems

Post by AStedraDJ » Thu Sep 11, 2008 1:42 pm

I have an M-Audio Evolution MK-449C keyboard and I can't get it to play in Ableton Live 7. I have played it before, but I got a new hard drive and I had to reinstall everything. Before I used other controller settings in the options preferences setting and it worked fine. This time I used all the 49 key keyboard settings, like Kontrol49, Axiom49, Oxygen49, it worked before, but this time it won't recognize my keyboard. Is there any kind of option where I can install my software for the evolution keyboard?

Thanks for your time,

Andrew...

I've got one of those, and it suddenly stopped working via USB and will now only work through MIDI.

It's a useless cheap and nasty plastic toy, like most M-Audio crap!

Are you trying to set it up as a control surface, or just to play midi notes to tracks?

I'm trying to set it up as a control surface, I just want to play the instruments inside ableton and record them.

Maybe a stupid question, but did you reinstall drivers etc???
Is it recognized in "hardware"?
