Multiple plug-in windows...

Can you actually have multiple plug in in windows open at the SAME time? the option in preferences only makes it so they are still floating, but not visible at the same time. I want to be able to have my plug-ins visible on the second monitor at the same time for easy editing and work flow... Logic 8 can do it...

i guess that you make this just press ctrl when you click the wrech but i m not sure.

yes, you can... in preferences check the box : Look Feel>multiple plugin windows and/or auto hide plugin windows...then...you can click on the small circle with a tool in it (it's on every plugin into Live) and...voilá...the GUI of the plugin will appear. if you check the box : auto hide plugin windows then you will be able to see only the plugins of the active track ( not the rest)... it's your choice...
