unfortunately I dont think anyone's ever held much hope for Kerry, he just seems marginally less of a bastard

if one were to take the massive efforts on the part of the republicans to disenfranchise voters in the US into account, i would say that even the republicans think that kerry has a chance. in fact, i would say he has so much of a chance that they are terrified enough to engage in some pretty underhanded tactics to assure their king's victory...
