Can we change colour of the midi notes in Ableton?

Post by foogermooger » Fri Sep 12, 2008 3:11 pm

You know how they always appear as red, well i would like to be able to change the colour of them..so like some are red and some are blue.

Is this possible? Will it ever be?

I just want to be able to see the unactivated notes. They practically blend right into the background. Notes that follow each other tend to look like one long note too.

This would be amazing for midi juggling (the IAC/Midiyoke trick). It would be cool if you could colour code the midi notes to the same colour as the clip that it was triggering.

Does the skin editor allow us to change colour of individual notes? or just them all from say red to green?

Thanks

I think sadly its only for the overall colour of notes.

Personally I'd love to see a much more user friendly version of the skin editor packaged into Live itself, but pigs are not flying where I live, and probably not in Berlin either.

And I'm still waiting for the option of changing warp markers to whatever colour I want. So simple to implement but still missing. :(
