oh chrap
well. indeed. quite.
if anyone had actually come up with a suggestion to my serious problem then...
i could say fair enough and happily flame your mother but youre just hot air and no substance...
i cant help it if im an engineer !
your being engineerist you artist tosser....
it is a fair enough point to say that ableton isnt as precise in mixing and editing as other sequencers. it wasnt built for that anyway, thats probably why its got live in the title...
so yeah i couldnt give a fuck what you think unless its got to do with recalling presets you wankstain.

1. save your presets... pretty basic stuff ..I know....
"a good 'engineer' never looses a take"...or a preset...
(been working with bidule/vvvv/pd for 2 years ... never lost anything...)
2. route tracks to an audio track... then adjust the volume of that track...
or just do it the old fashioned way maybe ?
3. a little humility never hurt nobody...especially when asking for help...
some people here are pretty good at what they do...
and you... you're just some retard who lost some presets...
4. fuck you
5. wheres that coffee...?!

you think they let him near the coffee? he'll need to spend at least a year3dot... wrote:pretty arrogant... aren't we ?
now go make me some coffee... 2 sugar... make it snappy...
or two cleaning up the dried wank off the real engineer's chair first.

You come on this forum asking for help, then turn around and start trash talking because you're to fucking stupid to work the software.trash wrote:i never left nuendo i never started using it properly..
its got everything ableton hasnt
which is mixing precision and a sort of feeling of permanence...
i.e. you dont lose presets for no reason whatsoever...
example : cant find a way to pull all the faders down relatively
which as an engineer is as basic function and logic does it within half a second...
its a perfectly good reason for leaving a product if it dont werk correctly...
i lost a good days work there - not too pleased....
and yeah thanks for the great suggestions.
if no more americans ever answer any post of mine till the end of time that would be great. thanks.
If you think nuendo is so damn good then take your bitch arse back to using it.

Re: oh chrap
what do you mean bidule patches saved in the song? wouldn't you have to load/save bidule presets in bidule?trash wrote:hey, can anyone help with this....
i just lost a load of stuff...
i just had a song last night with about 3 bidule patches in it that were saved in the song.
load it up this morning and they are all gone and ive no idea where....
any ideas about where they could have gone ?
ableton doesnt do backups like logic right ?
would like to understand how ableton saves these things so this never happens again....
many thanks for any help...
dunno, they all seemed to save alright up to a point. i had some semi-crash type thing and the song was saved but the bidules werent - and i hadnt made any attempt to save them elsewhere before. i never quite got the sound back - but i got summat else. yes im arrogant and with reason. and no i havent ever cleaned another engineers spunk off the master chair (nice thought though) but ive spilt beer on some expensive mixing desks and ive also cleaned my own spunk off the desk. the girl said she liked the eqs on her nipples. ive probably been engineering for longer than you and ive probably made more money than you and im probably just better than you. but if im not get in touch as soon as cos im looking to work with someone who knows DSP - max, pd, bidule, watever. as long as you reeeeeeally know your shit. if you want to work with an arrogant cunt - get in touch.
the reason i was getting arsey is abletons forums are full of clueless cunts - its like if you dont know the fucking answer shut the fuck up. know what i mean. oh i guess you dont. also the religious fervour of ableton users gets up my arse a bit. as soon as you point out a feature which is missing they get all like those religious anti gay protestors in yankee scum land who stand outside gays peoples furnerals and picket their mums. sad cunts.

i couldnt resist
point by point answers are too easy
1. oooOOOO 'never lost anything' - wow. as if. i like my software to store the presets and changes of whatever thinger im using usually. and also. fuckoff
2. im not sure what youre talking about here but what i was saying was about a way for trimming multiple channels at once.
3. how much of a fuck do i look like i give ?
4. touche motherfucker innit.
5. i had to down that coffee to keep me awake. your mother sure works a man hard.
i hate wankers who assume. the truth is i have just dumped logic as of a few weeks ago and im trying out ableton and nuendo as alternatives. im not 'stupid' by any stretch of your tiny imaginations, i just cant be arsed to read the manual. i also own and have paid for logic and bidule (thats it though) and i have a massive personailty disorder. prizes for guessing what type.
