Trouble with midi mapping--plz help

Hey folks,

I've tried searching for a solution here but I get over 8000 entries and don't know how to narrow my search down.

Here are the basics: I've never had trouble midi mapping my UC33 or the pads and knobs on my Axiom 25 before until last week. Now, I simply can't get Live to map the sliders on my UC33 or the pads and knobs. All my devices are in the Preferences midi/sync window and all are turned on. The sessions that had been previously mapped work correctly, but I am unable to re-map anything in those sessions anymore. I also do not see the midi indicator light at the top right hand corner flash on/off.

Can anyone give me some ideas as to what may be wrong? If possible, can you send me screen shots of your Midi/sync window so that I can verify everything is done properly. Again, everything was fine up until a week ago.

FYI: I'm running Live 7.0.1 on a HP running Vista.
