Usb foot controller to change scenes

Post by rudyfunk » Sun Sep 07, 2008 12:44 pm

I need a foot controller to change scenes in session view.
I'm a guitarist and need my hands elsewhere... :-)

Any suggestions?

I have tryed with a Boss gt-8 board, midi only, but it didn't work right.
Couldn't assign more than one thing at each bank + exp pedal works as pitch bend (???)

Any help out there?

*Berit Fridahl.

Welcome!

Behringer FCB-1010. http://www.behringer.com/FCB1010/?lang=ENG

Cheap, rugged, versatile, easy to use with Live. The CC pedals are really useful, too.

+1 on the Behringer.
Very rugged, cheap and flexible.
Might be a bitch at first to get your head around. There are some freeware editors around that are helpful.

And it's not usb, just midi so you do need a midi interface.

Yes, the FCB1010 can be "so big" but works great...

I will add my agreement - the FCB1010 has been great for me.

I am using a yamaha MFC10, easily configurable. But I don't really trust the switches longevity.
If I had do buy one today, I'd go for the behringer, and really take the time to figure out the programming.

Thank you so much for all the replies.
I ended up buying the FCB1010 and I think it's great!!
Took 20 min to program it to first function, but now it's in the feet :-)

I also found out how to program the exp pedals, but having trouble having it act smoothly...

But, all in all just what I needed...

Thx!
