I have Automaton.... Dubstation.....Replicant....BigSeq.... all of these plug ins are very fun to use.... I'm not using Replicant anymore now that Automaton is out..... I love Dubstation I know you can create feedback loops with the Sends/Returns in Live but Dubstation is easy to use it has midi learn capabilities and that's a plus due to being able to record automation with a midi controller in session view...... like all their plugs....

so do i. i use on nearly everything i do - i find a combination of Phase2 and dubstation is very pleasing to the ear.

i have recently purchased Reverence, and that is also very good indeed.

i am 'this' close to buying Automaton, but i dont do glitchy stuff so it wouldn't get used much. but i know one day i will weaken and buy it anyway...

I don't have Reverence but Audio Damage has a good reputation for all their products.....

The thing about Glitch type plugins... One way I use them a lot is by slapping Automaton on the loop such as a drum loop and record or resample into another audio track and then pick out certain parts that would be good for lets say a fill and then put that right at the end of the drum loop for may the last half bar or a full bar record or resample that and then I drag both loops back into session view and I have the regular drum loop and also the loop with the fill... I like to do the same thing and mess around resample the loop and have several variations of the same loop on one track. I then can assign those clips to a midi controller or I like to program follow actions so then I can work on another part of the track such as the bass line and so forth and create different variations... If your not trying to create a track then drop some FX racks on each audio track and drag and save in a clip folder for another day.....

I haven't spent too much time with Automaton ever since Omnisphere came out this has taken up a lot of my time..

I am interested in purchasing Kombinat I've been reading a lot of reviews on this plug in and seems to have a style of its own... like all their effects....

Trust me Kombinat is the illness...probably more useful than automaton if you aren't really into the whole random stutter/mod/bitcrush glitch effects genre.
