the grand piano is actually quite good. and it's fun to play around.
but that's the reason why the wish of a more realistic sound with more articulations occures. that would be a blast.

Synthogy's Ivory Piano sounds wonderful, but you will need a fast machine with at least 2 GB ram and 40GB free space on a fast disk drive to get maximum use from it. Also comes with a stand alone program for when you just want to bash around on piano without all the overhead of host sequencer.

edit: just noticed this in feature requests, so my answer is probably not the most appropriate. But the recommendation still stands.

I second Noel's recommendation.

Synthogy's Ivory is the best piano vst I have heard.
