More than two usb/midi controllers

It would be really nice if they could add two more inputs for USB/midi controllers for a total of four. With all of the cool USB controllers out there, it would be nice to be able to have more than two controllers hooked up without having to have them all merged together. Thanks!

i agree, but I want a remote control setup just like the one for the midi inputs in general - a limit of two or four is stupid, esp. since a lot of loopers and performers like surrounding themselves with controllers, myself included. Fewer and fewer companies are making midi merger units now, since modern software isn't limited like that anymore...

...except of course Ableton Live :-/ Sure, assigning ccs is easy, but hooking up controllers for a whole band requires a midi merger?!?
