in a way it might be overkill, but i was just curious who else is doing this

i already have a virus TI Polar (which i LOVE) and am thinking about getting a Snow for jam sessions, since lugging around a 20-pound synth kinda sucks.

If you like the virus and you think you need another one... get one. At least you know what to expect.

I had to Juno 106's at one point. On my 106's had like 4 voices burnt out, and I found another used one for a cheaper price then repairing my other 106, so I bought it. The good thing was the 2 voice 106 I could only use in mono mode and it had a really really mean tone as well with the 2 voices stacked on each other. SO, I had 2 Junos, but they both sounded different so I dunno if it really counts, lol.

I dunno? I doubt patches between the two are compatible, and though the snow is decent, why not get the Waldorf Biofield? That way you have a different tonal palette to choose from, but similar enough to be in the same realm as the Virus sound.missjade wrote:cool, thanks! i'm just torn bc the polar's my 1st synth and i don't know if this is just part of my burgeoning gear lust. looks like i'll be buying myself a nice little xmas present this yearnbinder wrote:Some of us might remember the need to have several Akais...![]()

Personally I would get the DSI desktop Evolver, but that's me.
