Sometimes I like to play a bunch and then chop up what I played into a loop instead of fitting everything into a four bar loop.
I was wondering if there is an easier method to chop stuff in the arrangement view and have it be looped easier . here is the process in ableton I have been using :
1. split the section I want
2. delete surrounding stuff
3. select clip and set loop to on
4. drag the loop point begin/end to the start and end ( which takes way to long )
5.draw out the rest of loop
in logic and acid I used to :
1.split the secion
2. delete surrounding stuff
3.draw out rest of loop
