Sampler sounds

I couldn't find it anywhere... What does sampler come with? OR is is just the app and you have to put sounds in it.

dude, it's a SAMPLER. you can put any damn sound in the world in there, just drag samples into it and tweak around, theres a lot you can do to your sounds in that puppy. Ableton does have a bunch of presets(check website if they aren't in your browser under Sampler) and people make all kinds of racks for it, try a search...try making your own racks, mad fun...

Haha, well put. However Ableton is a sampler. Not my point. I'm looking at a product like Kontakt or Sampletank and thought I'd look closer to home first. Was hoping Sampler could meet my needs for general sounds.

oh yeah, Track Team Audio, Puremagnetik, CovOps etc. have a lot of stuff built for Sampler, but that shit ain't free.(actually, some of it is!)

oh, i see what you mean. i like to cobble together my own sample library, but it is handy to have pre-made stuff to grab. i don't know much about Kontakt or SampleTank. maybe i'll check em' out...
