grid entry with operator

Post by taikowaza » Tue Oct 07, 2008 7:39 pm

hi everybody, I have been using flstudio on windows for a while and like it a lot.
unfortunately I could no longer stand the instability of my windows box and have switched back to mac. I am happy but some of my favorites don't run on osx, like flstudio and some voxengo plugins for example. I just downloaded the new operator drumkits and like them. now, i want to enter drum parts like I did in flstudio, with a grid editor, so I can enter kicks in 4x4 just by clicking on the part, and move on to other parts one by one. Could you tell me how to best go about this in ableton? if you have used flstudio you might know what i mean. thanks a lot

I've been seeing so many of these windows comments lately. people who can't get thier windows machine to work right so they switch to mac.

reformat the harddrive and then never put the thing online, update all your drivers using a floppy to transfer the files.

I've had my windows machine for about a year now with absolutely no problems.

I did what you did, switched to mac, missed some windows programs and switched back like 3 years later.

oh, and to answer your question just put the operators in drum rack channels and you're ready to go, or just racks and map the keys
