FM8 Demo

Post by AbleToRemember » Tue Oct 07, 2008 12:20 am

Just wanted to share that I downloaded the FM8 demo from the Native Instruments web sight. Really cool sounds and morrphing. I wanted to use this to record synth sounds into Ableton and in the demo mode you are limited to use, so what I did was loaded it as an AU plugin in a midi track and then sent the audio to audio track one, I armed both tracks and recorded the synth. Free sounds to for recording purposes. Otherwise to purchase is about $230 for a download version.

Check it out

FM8 Demo

Oh by the way, you can also assign the morph x& y in the drop down menu in the plugin once loaded in Ableton from your plugin menu, and then use your moust to manipulate. I tried to assign the x/y touch pad on my novation remote sl, but it would crash the automap and freeze. I guess since FM8 has no re-wire ability, the romote sl will not work with it properly.

Peace

Guitar Center was selling Komplete Synths for $199. That includes, Massive, FM8, Absynth and Pro 53.

Everyone's aware that this works.
However, you'll find that a bunch of demos has a certain noise floor in them that kicks in after 15/30 days of use.
