HELP: need some advice on audio cards for live performance!!

Hey, I'm working on a:
15 inch 1.5 gig powerbook
2 gigs ram

currently working on an M-Audio Quattro soundcard, which to be honest I wouldn't trust as far as I could throw taking it out in front of people. Can I please get some advice...or other's experiences with other cards...the specs on the Audiophile sound appealing...though I'm not a huge fan of the fact that it's dealing with an RCA in/out and at that only 1 stereo in/out. I realize its aim is to patch into a DJ-esque mixer, and that portability is it's main goal...but it would be nice to have something more inclusive such as the M-Audio 410 if additional hardware is going to be used...anyways, I'd appreciate any/all advice

Have a look at the esi quatafire 610!
Great specs, good price and it´s damn small!
