recording in stereo?

i have a mobilepre usb interface, using the live 2.1.2 demo version, and i'm recording through the xlr mic input. when i record, the quality is good but my question is this:

how can i make what i record with one input be stereo sound? i'm recording my acoustic guitar through a mic, and when it records and i play it back there's only sound in the left headphone/speaker. how do i make it go to both?

additionally, the live demo won't let me record in the session view. how am i supposed to record vocals over the guitar track? can i? does the live 4 demo let you do this?

ok, so i figured out the recording over stuff question. i'm dumb. but still, how do you make stuff record in stereo? or say i wanted a track to be on the right headphone/speaker instead of left?

ok, nevermind again. i'm an idiot and should mess around more before asking questions. apperently link was selected in stereo view when it shouldn't have been.
