Zeitgeist part 2: Addendum
Re: Zeitgeist part 2: Addendum
the dude hyped it too much but in general the idea of a society that utilizes a resource allocation system (i.e. money) that is actually based on the resources available in the economy rather than arbitrary and hurtful systems such as the gold standard and the current debt based system and encourages inventions and creations to solve problems rather than oppressive and ineffective laws is pretty spot on. Like the dude said, its not a perfect idea but its a helluva lot better than what we got now.WaveRider wrote:I liked part 1 but that venusian society is a scam....Emissary wrote:http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 7695921912
good watch. well for some of you anyway. others will despise it.

It's infortunate that anytime an idea for a society based on altruism is mentioned you have refferences to communism and socialism right after. Let the good things those philosphies brought us remain and do away with the bad parts. It's as simple as that, it can't be said that we have nothing to learn from Karl Marx. His idea was eutopian maybe now with our understanding of science and economics we can implement it in a more reasonable way. Another stupid thing here in Miami old Cubans will vote for McCain just because he is the furthest away from communism. They don't even bother to see what Obama has to say they just say " socialized medicine! he's a communist lets vote for McCain!" It's ridiculous we are still living in fear of isms...
Also about the whole one world government thing. I know it's popular to hate on the idea of the whole world being together because you have all these microchips, anal probes, and cameras everywhere. But realistically don't you think it's inevitable? Societies evolved from small villages, to largers ones, to cities, and eventually to nations. Doesn't it make sense that eventually it would evolve in to a more unified world?
Theoretical physicist Michio Kaku seems to think a world government would evolve society sufficiently to allow advanced space travel. Also if you look at the Kardashev scale, it's part of the equation to unify the world in order to move on to a more technologically advanced society. WHat do you think think?

Seriously Alex Jones could choose to deliver something useful but he gets so caught up in all the secret societies, and symbols, and bullshit. I can say although he is a fucking idiot, he does provide an open forum for people to speak. He has had a wide range of people on his show including Noam Chomsky and Michio Kaku, although he has also had David Icke who is a complete loony. Anyway it was interesting to hear Peter Joseph discuss the film, interesting interview.Emissary wrote:there is an interview of peter joseph by alex jones on youtube. its like a fucking toddler arguing with a professor. i didnt have much time for AJ anyway but this has now just made me totally lose interest in the ass.

I heard about that....sounds pretty typical, although it doesn't make much sense to me because Alex pretty much worships Jordan Maxwell, who is right in line with the religious part of Z1, which is what Alex has a problem with, from what I hear. I've pretty much stopped going to infowars because the signal/noise ratio is just way too low.Emissary wrote:there is an interview of peter joseph by alex jones on youtube. its like a fucking toddler arguing with a professor. i didnt have much time for AJ anyway but this has now just made me totally lose interest in the ass.
Yeah its a tough one. It seems like some of the problems going on today could only be solved by a governing body with planet-wide jurisdiction. But what happens between now and then, going from today to a one world government? How are you going to get EVERY country to give up its sovereignty? Seems like there would be a ton of bloodshed and/or economic blackmail along the way. And then there's the maxim that "Absolute power corrupts absolutey".....how does that apply to word government? It's nice to think that everything would just work out so great, but I imagine people thought that about the US in 1776.funknotik wrote:Also about the whole one world government thing. We have to be careful. I didn't bring up the Chris White article because of his opinions about Marxism and Communism, but rather because he is tracing the ideas in Zeitgeist back to their roots, which happen to be the same secret societies that are supposedly plotting the NWO. Therefore, if you believe in secret society theories you should be very very wary of Zeitgeist and anything else that links back to Blavatsky, Lucis Trust, etc. If you don't believe in secret society stuff, it is still worth knowing the intellectual ancestry of some of these ideas, as it tells a lot about where these ideas might be leading to.

i don't think chipping and monitoring us is a natural progression at all. what are you on?
we are human beings not robots, and the government doesn't own me. who put them in charge anyway because we didn't elect them. (you may think you did, but you didn't).
maybe a one world government would work. but that is not the problem, the problem is that the people who look like creating a one world government are corrupt, evil and ignorant to the real beings we are.
say what you want about zeitgeist, but it is undeniable that we are a consciousness in a human body. that consciousness is as infinite as the universe and we don't understand it. so instead of chipping and monitoring each other to control them, we need to explore and expand our minds.

My refference to chipping was because I don't think that is ever going to happen. Obviously people would resist and obviously people would find a way around it. So it would be pointless to even try. What I am saying is that it is an inevitable and natural progression of societies and civilizations to eventually be global. Or we could become an idiocracy, "Welcome to costco I love you."silverlulu wrote:i don't think chipping and monitoring us is a natural progression at all. what are you on?

LOL! At this the above comment, calm down. If your talking about people in prison and a couple of stupid ass peoples kids? Thats hardly the kind of thing that will pose a problem. I'm referring to people being forced to have chips inside of them. These people are extenuating circumstances, I can't help it if Joe plumber wants to microchip his kids cause he already caught little susie fucking in the winabego. That verichip thing never took off, other than for old people in retirement communities here in florida. So far I haven't met anyone with a chip. Here is an article. http://www.time.com/time/health/article ... 65,00.html

chipping WILL happen eventually, we are getting ID cards very soon with chips in and it will be against the law to leave the house without it.funknotik wrote:silverlulu wrote:people are already being chipped mate. didn't you know?

Now follow your train of thought. The people will eventually DEMAND that we are chipped under the skin so we dont have to worry about forgetting our cards. This will come to pass sure as night follows day.
