I have ProTools 6.9 with the original Mbox and run ProTools and Ableton on the same computer. I'm new to AL and my current set up uses the Mbox in my Inputs\Outputs config. Should I be using the Mbox as my soundcard for Ableton or should I be using my PCI SoundBlaster card in the computer? Because I already use the Mbox for ProTools obviously. Are there any pros/cons to this?
Also, how do you guys have your set-up? I've got 57SL running Serato on 1 computer and ProTools/Ableton on another machine. I bought a mixing board and route the outs of my Mbox into a mixer channel, the outs of my 57SL goes into another mixer channel, and the outs of my PC soundcard running Ableton/ProTools goes in to it's own mixer channel as well.
