Rewire (or sync) between two laptops
would you seriously pay 129$?!?!? You could buy four midi interfaces and sync up the whole world with that kind of money!C-Boy wrote:Ive tried the trial version.
Works great with two PCs on XP PRO SP1.
I CANT get it to work with PC & MAC OS10.3.2
So , so far i wont be purchasing the full version, until i can get MAC to PC Ableton LIVE sync working.
Okay, i got the mac/pc sync working.
Heres how:
I had to put the midioverlan CP program in the mac OS startup folder, so the program starts with the computer (like hardware). SORTED.
Yeah $129 is a bit steep, i wonder if i could just download another 14 day trial when this one runs out - until i can find a more economical solution?
Hope this helps someone.

Re: syncing powerbook to iBook with live 4
I synced noisetonepause's ibook to my IBM using a *standard* usb midi interface. You can buy those used for a tenner...bitmap wrote:has anyone done this with Live 4 (powerbook and ibook sync)?
