How to route internally
How to route internally
Hey,
for my live set I have 4 Audio channels/tracks and a suppa duppa reaktor fx unit, where I can mash up, record, etc.
Sometimes I want to route a single audio channel, sometimes two, sometimes all audio channels into that Reaktor fx chanel/unit.
Is there an other - more elegant and live compatible - way to choose which audio channel should be routed into fx than choosing via the mouse (master out/fx rack) ?
This is even not possible to do via midi or a single key, it's just possible with the mouse, which i want to avoid in a live set.
Can Ableton Live handle several Reaktor inputs ?
Then I could build some routing buttons in reaktor.
Merci

seems like live can not handle more than one audio input stream internallymag38 wrote:Hey,

you should be able to put the reaktor device on a fifth track and then route each of the 4 audio tracks to the reaktor inputs. If the reaktor inputs are available they will be in the second pulldown. In eack audio track choose your reaktor track and then use the second pulldown to choose the individual inputs.
I certainly route about internally.
I certainly route about internally.

ah, thank you ... are you a reaktor user ?Angstrom wrote:you should be able to put the reaktor device on a fifth track and then route each of the 4 audio tracks to the reaktor inputs. I don't get reaktor fixed that ableton shows me that second pulldown.

yeah, i am using kind of my version of beatlookup ...logic_user99 wrote:You're using BeatLookup, aren't you...
I've had no problems routing stuff into R5 from within Live. Why not just put the ensemble onto your master channel?
mh, it seems that i can GET audio from different reaktor (works only as instr. not as fx) outputs but not SEND it to different reaktor inputs from an audio channel, which i want to do ...
can you load up me an example how it works for you ? that would be great !

I managed to get that pulldown with reaktor too now ...Angstrom wrote:sorry, I don't use Reaktor as I tend to make dedicated VST for myself and they will show the alternative inputs in the pulldown. A Reaktor user would have to comment on whether the inputs really will show in the second 'output' pulldown.
the only problem is, i don't want to choose between different inputs in an audio channel .. i want to choose between different outputs in a live audio channel ...
is this possible at all ?

stange ... this is grayed out (inaktive) with reaktor here ... only works with an input ... mh
