just want to know what methods/tricks people are using to remix songs...

Are you looking for interesting ways to do it, or just "how to"? It's pretty straight forward - drop the pella on an audio track, sync it up till it sounds right... Only hard part is usually you need to ride the whole thing, making sure transients are on beat.

remix acapella tracks

thanks..

no i know how to remix tracks... i was asking two questions :

1. creative ways people are remixing acapella tracks

2. how are people using ableon live matching the acapella track to the original tempo/bars using warp etc ? i.e. say you have the original version of a song and then you have the acapella version... there should be a way to figure out (1) the true tempo of the song and (2) the starting point of the first bar or beat... makes it a lot easier to start dropping some of my home made loops in

these arent essential for me to remix a track... but its how i like to work... pardon my inexperience, im really just beging to get comfortable with Live
