That sounds like a workable solution. I'm never going to use more than 128 automated parameters anyway.

I never encountered this problem before I started using Spectrasonics Omnisphere. There are of course internal ways of automation in the plugin itself, but I prefer being able to automate with Live's clip envelopes.

I'd still be pissed if I had to organize all the parameters on my plugins to put the ones I want to automate up in the first 128 slots. I dont want to have to spend all my time micromanaging parameter lists just to automate something.

You know you've got a good point there, dont know why they dont just make all parameters available in the first place. Even though I'm grateful they are finally doing something about it, its just plain useless right now! So much so that I have stopped using Ableton. I'm working on some tracks and the parameters I NEED to automate are not available. I've turned to Cubase to get these projects done.

Please please Ableton this couldn't come sooner! Number 1 priority for sure.
