yeah but that's not normal behaviour, its built in to the script of your controller.....that's what i meant about using mackie emulation, a lot of the supported control surfaces can do it but its not really natively possible to do with say an old midi keyboard with a knob on itollyb303 wrote:It is possible. I use my faderfoxes like this all the time.

is something like that in anyway possible ?
(i hope you understand my english)
for example, I have 5 scenes within 5 clips
scene 1 :clip 1 is CC1, clips 2 is CC2, clip 3 is CC3, ..............
scene 2 :clip 1 is CC1, clips 2 is CC2, clip 3 is CC3, ..............
scene 3 :clip 1 is CC1, clips 2 is CC2, clip 3 is CC3, ..............
wouldn't it be cool,
if I could trigger scene 1 and trigger clip 1 with CC1
and if trigger scene 2 after that and can trigger clip 1 of scene 2 also with CC1 !
the system has to realize that I'm in scene 2 and I want to trigger only clips in scene 2.
i hope you understand what I mean ....
Thanks

give this a look, im sure it'll probably do what you need

up/down like in second post. right/left with 3rd party software midi mapped to left an right cursor. i'm use free midistroke (os x) but there should be plenty on win platform. faderfox probably has some in its driver as this is not possible via clean midi learn. ableton really should add that. if you use only two tracks and lot of horizontal scenes it can be done by clicking on pie with bar marker (automaticaly switches to waveform view) - it is even beter than regular right/left for dj purposes.
