eh ?

Obomba's healthcare proposals aren't even remotely socialist.
ps: don't forget congress. good luck getting any genuinely socialist solutions to 'the healthcare problem' past the medical/corporate lobby groups.

I would be more afraid of one guy who think that they have all of the answers than someone whos more willing to take advice from others.

Presidents don't have all of the answers. They align themselves with a team of people analyze the data and usually make the final call.

Tnat speech confirms what I suspected all along......He has no plan. He knows nothing about the economy, he is lost. This guy is not ready to be president. I got flamed big time on this forum for asking "what plan". All he as done is mutter the words Change...change, and the Obama-bots, and sheeple fell into line. We are headed for a big train wreck. Face it, the only reason people like Obama is.....he isn't Bush. Its sad, but we are on the way to a big paycheck raping with this guy. He is fueling the abolishment of 401K retirement funds, he wants to rape FICA which is what feeds out Social Security, he is backing off some of his promises, and the biggie, he has waffled and lowered the cap for income that he said he would not tax (was 250K per year). Now his is lowered it down to the 150K or 200K range. WE ARE SCREWED if this guy gets elected. But America does not care about putting a price tag on our liberties. The sheeple are selling out and saying "Ya he's gonna give me free money every year" Money that these idiots will pay the rent with for one month and its gone until the next year. That plan can not build the economy back. Everyone use your heads and think about what he has condoned. Marxism, association with domestic terrorist, ACORN who he has promised a role in his presidency, Wright, Rezko, taxes, giving Social Security to illegals, voter fraud, Distribution of wealth so that we don't have a say so where our money goes when we give it to the government. This nightmare list goes on and on. Please think about your actions and the consequences when you vote. I am not saying vote for McCain. I am saying if you like the independents stand on things, go that route. Obama = failure and we do not need any more failures in government.

C'mon man... I do think he's ignorant on issues, but it doesn't mean that he doesn't matter. Unfortunately there's a lot of people who think just like this guy and they're not all located in Missouri (nor do all people in Missouri think like huey-thankfully!).

This whole 'Our first black president' band wagon is bollocks, black or white, hes still a politician and exactly the same as any other politician, its great that pp are ready for a black politician, but its sad that people are voting based on that fact.

This far into the election, I shouldn't be surprised at anyone's stupidity, but still I am.

The people I have spoken with are not jumping on any bandwagon, but instead are focused on issues important to them and feel that Obama is best suited to address those issues as president.

On the subject of race, there will always be a few who vote based on race, whether that means voting for Obama because he's black or even those who vote for McCain because he is white. The important thing to remember is that this is a minority group on either side.

I dunno about that. If you look black, you're black.

I have a feeling most of those people who won't vote for Obama just because he's black probably wouldn't vote democrat anyway

and there will be plenty of people who don't vote for Obama and it has nothing to do with his race

the only way I think it will really work against him is if there are racist fucks who wouldn't normally vote who come out of the woodwork just to vote against him

but I think Obama has probably brought plenty of people out of the woodwork for him too

bullshit, the economy went south as soon as he was elected, and 911 took it even further. It's been all downhill from there. Two wars with no real benefit to 99.9% of the US hasn't helped one bit.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but I am 47 not 13.
Your choices in grammar and sentence structure say otherwise. Sorry you still haven't figured out how to construct a full sentence. It's not a petty thing when you're trying to make a point to at least use the right word, even if it's misspelled, but you don't even do that.
Blame the Dems for your beef with Bush, you got him elected by choosing the candidates you did. Come on, John Kerry. You guys couldn't do a wee better than that.

This is a good example, first I'm to blame the dems, then I am one. Which is it? If you had paid any attention at all to what I post, you would know I'm not a 'democrat'.
You obviously don't have a problem with taxes that don't don't get used for what is promised. You must be one wealthy fucker. Alot of people work hard and the government takes and keeps taking, and Obama has promised to take more. I don't work for the Obama or McCain (whoever wins). They work for me and you.
McCain will take even more. Republicans almost always end up causing inflation, the hidden tax. Thing is big business doesn't mind, as long as they can buy failing businesses at cut rates, and have a great excuse not to give raises.
Corporate welfare and a military budget that's nearly equal to all of the rest of the world combined bothers the fuck out of me. Making sure some welfare mom isn't selling her body for food etc. by giving her some food cards does not.
If either of them say they aren't raising taxes, they're lying, period. The only way to slow down the inflation that will happen soon is to raise taxes, and hopefully pump the money into things that help the economy etc. I don't have to like it to acknowledge an obvious truth. Republicans always lie about taxes and living standards, and they always go down for the working class during republican administrations. Not at all saying the democrats are that much better, but at least Obama didn't pick a retard like Palin as a running mate.
