Post by anton_67 » Thu Nov 11, 2004 10:46 am

hi everybody!
i'm new here - first question:

what are your experiences with battery 2 and live (mac os x)?
any problems? is it stable?
i've heard that your unable to change the number of outputs. but - is this really aproblem?
what about cpu-usage?

and can you use the libary (samples) in other samplers?

thx in advance

Granted, I only played with the demo for about 20 mins but:

Battery 1: CPU 5%-8%
Battery 2: CPU 15%-20%

Same kit, same midi loop, no tweaking.

G4 dual 1ghz

Who told you that? Battery 2 has 32 outputs (1-16 are mono, 17-32 are linked stereo) and everything works perfect in Live 4. I route my kits to multiple outputs in Live's mixer with no problems. The new compressor and EQ are great.

I think what he means is that you can't change the outputs to less than the 32 that is set as default.
