cannot rewire live 7 (as slave) with fl studio 8

hi

when i try and open live as the rewire slave (fl studio as master) i get this msg (every time i try):

Live detected problems with the ReWire master application and will probably not behave correctly. Please refer to the Ableton support website for up-to-date information on ReWire problems and fixes

any ideas? has anyone else found this?
i'm pretty sure that with fl studio 7 / 8 and live 6 it worked ok.

i have the latest version of both programs (and am running win xp)
