Does not compute. I think whatever discussion we might have had is over before it starts due to intolerance and faulty logic. Go in peace.
Religion is the definition of intolerance. It encourages segregation on too many levels.
I am sorry that you have never met Christ, and I am ashamed of the many that claimed to know him and failed to introduce him to you. Jesus and his followers love and have patience. Too many proclaim Christ and then push people away with nagging and fear-mongering. Who wants that? Jesus is a comforter, not a tyrant. In any case, I mean to agree with you that religion is divisive, and I want no part in that. I am not part of a religious group. I am part of a movement to spread love and brotherhood. We are all equal. Let's act like it.
You know, I may not appreciate your voting methodology, but you are ok in my book! ;)
Before speaking, learn telling. And to tear magic from science is very dumb pupil-like.

Suit #1: I mean, have you got any insight as to why a bright boy like this would jeopardize the lives of millions?
Suit #2: No, sir, he says he does this sort of thing for fun.

Is she going to call it John or Barack? Or maybe Ralph?

[EDIT] If it's a girl Sara is a pretty neutral name...

The martyrdom of many thousands suggest that some of the things you perceive to not exist, actually do exist and are worth dying for. Simply because you cannot see certain things, does not mean that they do not exist. (wind, sound pressure, atoms, radiation)
trouble is, the burden of proof is on the "believers" and so those of us who don't believe should not be in any way affected by the beliefs of those who do when it comes to governance

how the hell the Republicans can claim to be 'less government' yet feel they have the right to tell women what they can do with their bodies or who people can marry and not see the hippocracy is beyond me. In fact it totally infuriates me. How dare they. No, get these people the hell away from positions of power.

I think people have every right to believe whatever they like, but they have absolutely no right whatsoever to try and force others to do the same.

And on top of that, the Republicans and their anti-kindness and fuck the poor and underprivileged mentality are the least christian of the lot - they cynically use christianity as a means to their wicked ends, and if Christ were alive they would be the people he would be fighting against
