[ot] FOX : Palin thinks Africa is a country

Post by Angstrom » Thu Nov 06, 2008 3:22 pm

I'm sure you've seen this, or a variation.
She thinks Africa is a country, that South Africa is a region in that country and didn't know what NAFTA was, or who might be in it.

Warning, it features that o'Reily guy.

I hope a very thorough and accurate database of all her unworthiness is catalogued for if/when she thinks she is deserving of another shot at higher office.

John Cleese apologised to Michael in an interview that there was now a Palin he considered funnier.

I think its funny that O'Reilly defends Palin on her lack of basic geographical knowledge. I personally don't know how you can defend someone who's vying for an important role on an international level, by saying these are things they can just get tutored for... Is he serious???

What a damn shame people's expectations are so low for her. Thankfully the majority of our country gets it, and I shouldn't be surprised O'Reilly doesn't get it.

At heart I am a pacifist, but every time I see O'Reilly on the TV he makes me want to punch him in the face for being such a wilfully ignorant twat.

I wish I had a "Punch OReily In The Face" button on my TV that could activate a boxing glove on a spring.

that's why a projector is fun, you can throw pillows at the screen and you're just hitting the wall.

OReilly is great, he makes the absurdity of Fox and the GOP really obvious. imagine if they put a well spoken, intelligent, collected speaker in his position, they might actually make ground with more viewers and not alienate people. instead they play to the cheap seats, people who are already on the GOP hate machine.

I hope McCain's political friends from all sides of the aisle give him a real shitty hard time over the Palin pick, of ALL the GOP women to pick he really fucked up.

How could she be pres in 2012?

Hmm...

Let's get stoopid...

Let's say, something bad happens and "Say it Ain't So Joe" becomes Prez...
Joe does such a shit job, or something bad happens internationally where he looks like a complete fool or just not capable...

then in 2012, the Republicans throw Palin back in to go against Joe...

Shit... She could win...
If you can imagine it, it can happen...

have you been paying attention at all?? people gotta chill and get grounded.

plenty of GOP pundits came out of the woodwork asking her to step down. she's blamed by MANY for McCain's loss. she completely shamed the GOP. even just ONE day after the election stories are surfacing of how difficult she was to work with, game over Palin.

if anything the GOP took notes about why she worked (her looks, fundamentalist views, down home talking style) and what didn't work (she's an uneducated hick.) her national political career is dead, but I don't doubt we'll see future candidates that follow in her framework.

Guy... I said let's get stoopid here...

Which should be a clear indicator that I'm going to say something stupid!!!

No worries though...

I'm sitting by the ac and soon to be on the first floor... Bumping some early 2000-something progressive house while at work, and all is well...
