Hmm...

Let's get stoopid...

Let's say, something bad happens and "Say it Ain't So Joe" becomes Prez...
Joe does such a shit job, or something bad happens internationally where he looks like a complete fool or just not capable...

then in 2012, the Republicans throw Palin back in to go against Joe...

Shit... She could win...
have you been paying attention at all?? people gotta chill and get grounded.

plenty of GOP pundits came out of the woodwork asking her to step down. she's blamed by MANY for McCain's loss. she completely shamed the GOP. even just ONE day after the election stories are surfacing of how difficult she was to work with, game over Palin.

if anything the GOP took notes about why she worked (her looks, fundamentalist views, down home talking style) and what didn't work (she's an uneducated hick.) her national political career is dead, but I don't doubt we'll see future candidates that follow in her framework.
Tone, there's been more than a few article suggesting that she become the new face of the GOP in its rebuilding process... I personally don't understand how anyone can write this crap in spite of all the people she turned off from the GOP, but here's an article that is pretty favorable to her...

I don't think that rookie reporter is going to be with Fox very long, way too many facts against the GOP! :D

EDIT: He says "I wish I could have told you at the time" they surpressed reporting this because it would've hurt McCain "fair and biased reporting" my penis!!!!!!!!

Classic YouTube, thanks!

oh man, now I'm confused.

clearly nobody can deny the advice to never underestimate the stupidity of American politics. it'll be interesting to see if they can get that lipsticked pig to fly.

ultimately I hope this tears up the GOP and just like the Democrats have had the well meaning Naders and Perots splitting the left wing vote, maybe the GOP will get third party right wing candidates out to splinter their vote in coming elections.

I'm not sure that this is the kind of "Change" the O-Man had in mind.

I take it you've seen that Great New Zealand Motion Picture "Battletruck" AKA "Warlords of the 21st Century", then.

It's simple...in 8-12 years the tide will have turned and the Conservatives will again be in power. Then after they've had their turn, we'll turn Liberal again. It's the political cycle. We have the wishy-washy undecided moderates to thank for that.

a hilarious update to this story. I love media pranks

... Martin Eisenstadt, a McCain policy adviser, who has come forward today to identify himself as the source of the leaks,” Mr. Shuster said.

Trouble is, Martin Eisenstadt doesn’t exist. His blog does, but it’s a put-on. The think tank where he is a senior fellow — the Harding Institute for Freedom and Democracy — is just a Web site. The TV clips of him on YouTube are fakes.

And the claim of credit for the Africa anecdote is just the latest ruse by Eisenstadt, who turns out to be a very elaborate hoax that has been going on for months. MSNBC, which quickly corrected the mistake, has plenty of company in being taken in by an Eisenstadt hoax, including The New Republic and The Los Angeles Times.
