quick way to get rid of all automation lines?

Post by patchdub » Mon Nov 10, 2008 4:11 am

hi. in the arrange view- is there a quick key or way to get rid of all the red automation lines at once? i like to have the screen with as little amount of clutter as possible and i am constantly going to each track and manually clicking to the show automated parameters to none.
thanks.

yup. right click on the title of the track, and the very last option is clear all envelopes.

I don't think he wants to delete the lines, he just wants to fold them off the display for all tracks at once instead of having to do it on every single track.

Holding 'Alt' on PC while clicking the 'Show/Hide' triangle will collapse or expand all tracks. This works in other software as well, holding 'Alt' will do numerous things across all tracks.

+1 Patchdub!

This is a big one for me too. I wish there was a global "toggle envelopes on/off" command for Arrange View. The group folding/unfolding of tracks to hide/show the envelopes is not quite the full answer, because folding the track(s) hides the waveform as well.

Often I need to see the waveform, but without the automation, and there is currently no quick way to achieve that in Arrange View for all tracks at once.

yes some global command options would be huge for better work flow. i'm sure that i'm not the only one who likes a clean and tidy screen when working. and there ought to be a way to group tracks together so that they can be ajusted as one unit

i've also always wanted a way to see what tracks have fxs on them without having to open the track up.

and i've said it before but wanna keep getting it out there. can we please have a side chain function for every fx. and be able to use that to tweak any number of parametes?

pitch black is way dope! that was fun and inspiring up there in northern cali! come back soon.

Gotcha, like 'Show/Hide all Automation' in Cubase.
Definite feature request.
