Try to disable hyperthreading in your BIOS (when starting up your PC)

Hi there,

I'm also having a problem with my CPU usage. Tracks have delays and glitches as it's going up to 45% mark.

I'm using live 5 though, and a macbook. I understand that a laptop will have less power but I'm looking for ways in which I can reduce the metre.

I've tried recording individual samples with effects on, so that the computer is not playing them as 'real time', but once reloading them, the samples are really quiet. Do I have to change the sample rate for this type of recording?

Any help, would be great!!
