Adjusting Drum Racks Global pitch

Post by dizz1 » Fri Nov 07, 2008 1:38 pm

Hey fellas just wondering if its possible to tune an already sliced file globally in drum rack rather than clicking on each pad individually and then tuning?
Is there a way to group select the whole lot?
Cheers

I might not be understanding your question right, but you could map the pitch of every slice to a macro control and use that for global tuning.

I do this with my drum racks and then map my controller's pitch-bend wheel so I can pitch-mangle my beats.

What I've done whit my drum racks, is to take a clean drum rack, mab the transpose butten to one of the macros, and dumping this in the drum rack /slicing folder somewhere in lives library... Then when you wanna slice up something you can choose this as the preset, so all the slices will have one single button for transposing. I think covert operaters made a post about this on their site.

Me too.

I wish Ableton put this in the manual. Wait a minute, I don't read manuals!
