Midi Drum Programming Books or References?

Post by blue_aidoru » Sun Nov 14, 2004 11:25 pm

Can anyone recommend a website/book for the novice drum programmer? Basically, I play the guitar, but I just bought a used midi keyboard and Battery 2, and I would like to lay down some nice drum tracks to play over while using live and a midi foot controller. Don't get me wrong - I know that learning through experiment is awesome, etc. I was just looking for a book that would help me make my drums more interesting.

Note: I am not looking for a book on "how to use Battery", more like a "drumming for beginners" that applies to software drum machines.

Thanks in advance.
