which would you go for cant decide. 500 is my budget. Its for study more than music. have a good pc for music

I think you need to keep looking, mate. You can get much better laptops for the same money.

Don't settle for less than 2Gb RAM.

1. You cannot use Live effectively with Vista Basic.
2. FSC V5535, T3200, 2GB, 160GB, Vista Business + XP Pro (downgrade), 465 Euro in Germany

I ran a fairly good HP laptop (pc) with ableton live 6, complete waste of time, pc crashes, stutters and generally have too much applications( anti virus progs especially) that lower performance.

I just bought a 15" macbook pro, worth every penny!
if your never going to play out live then go for what suits the budget, otherwise wait on and get a decent mac laptop, they are so much quicker and reliable!

cool, then if its not for live performance go for the budget option! its hard to hold on to the money but honestly, the mac's are far better.
