Good free DAW's?

I need a free DAW that will save files and render them to disk. I've tried Live's demo, and it doesn't let you save so that's no good. I only need it to let you have 4 or so tracks.

Even if it's a demo, are there any free software downloads that just have the basics but actually let you save and render?

Check out Kristal - http://www.kreatives.org/kristal/index.php - I have no clue to it's capabilities. But it's free...

its not bad at all for a freeware , especially the vsti that come with it, they are quite good .
